[Buildroot] How to use sysroot option

In the documentation on buildroot, it indicates that you can build
cross-compiled toolchain that can be moved out of the staging_dir into
another directory. I am using gcc 4.2.1. When I look at the options in make
menuconfig, I am not seeing where I should put the sysroot option. Can
someone point me in the right direction? I have searched this mailing list
but didn't find anything to help me with this.
